Text Box: Our Story: In 1971 my grandfather opened his first restaurant in Downtown Chicago off of Lake St. & Wabash called “24 East”. At this restaurant my grandfather introduced his recipe that was carried over from our home village Arvati. The recipe until today has not changed. Our family has used it for over 40 years and still serve it today at Arvati’s Pizza. Arvati’s Pizza of Glen Ellyn has old world recipes that have been here for generations. Thanks to my grandfather, I have been given the delightful opportunity to serve his recipe to the community around us. Thanks Grandpa.
